Conversations with Witches
So. 2020. Yeah.
Often times people say they've had a year. And then 2020 came. It wasn’t even halfway over and it will be the stuff of legends. I hope we can look back and nod to one another about it.
And yet, life has not come to a screeching halt, even though much of our movement and economy has due to the impacts of COVID-19 on the world stage. My 4 year old made up a multiple verse song about a blue train, I just received a text from a cousin in the hospital waiting for the results of her COVID-19 test, and my father-in-law may literally be drawing his final breaths as I write this.
And on the same day, a few witches gathered and discussed their Shadows. Shadow work is… (LAZY! definition inserted later or linked) and this particular group of talented witch friends had been at it for several months.
Today's conversation included the exact kind of thing I'd envisioned when I made space for Conversations with Witches.
These witch friendships are also the stuff of legends, we are multi-faceted friends of wide-ranging demographics who are practicing our Craft. We achieve pinnacles of worldly success and plumb the depths of our fears and insecurities together. We see and are seen by one another and we routinely bare the contents of our souls. To me, they are a life-line, a safety net, a support group, a sanity check, and a hell of a good time. Together, we practice being fuller, brighter, more kick-ass and kind humans and I cherish every one of them.
We talk about stuff that does not have a home elsewhere in our lives. We divine the threads of coincidence and pattern from our various viewpoints.
I've had this for 20 years in covens and working groups and realize there's enough gold and pearls to share.
So if you'd like to eavesdrop, come on in. Remember, this is our personal understanding from where we currently are. If something resonates, please feel free to chew on it and test its validity in your life. If not, no sweat. Statistically, one more no brings you closer to a yes.
Hope you enjoy.
More soon.
